FEED MY SHEEP

Feed My Sheep is a new ministry of Faith-Promise. Its official name is 1st UMC Against Hunger.  The purpose of this ministry is to help feed Polk County’s disadvantaged, and it will benefit organizations whose goal isto help fill empty plates in this area.  Feed My Sheep is a volunteer-driven effort that brings together people of all ages and all walks of life, in our church and community, to make a difference in our area. Groups of various ages—children to senior citizens—help fill bags witha rice/soy/chicken casserole mixture at a cost of 23 cents per serving. Containing nutritionally-complete meals, bags can be used locally or sent to disaster areas where people need food.  For more information or to become a volunteer, you may contact Sue Nason, 328-3065, nason@eastex.net
