The Childrens Choirs participated in helping our church Mission Project 'Feed My Sheep'. This is a ministry that bags a Chicken/Soy/Rice meal for a family of four and provides extra nutrients. The bags are distributed locally by different charities that tend to the needs of families that are struggling and are in need of proper nourishment but are not able to afford them. At Livingston First United Methodist Church, music is a vital part of our ministry. Not only do we offer three opportunities for your child to become involved in music, they also get to be involved in Worship! Our choirs are divided into three groups: Joyful Noise (K-2nd), Jubilee Singers (3rd-6th) and Youth Choir (7th-12th).
Each week, we pick up your child from school and bring them to the church for 2-1/2 hours of fun activities and music education. A typical day runs as follows: 3-3:30pm-Snack; 3:30-4pm-Playground;
4-4:30pm-Choir; 4:30-5pm-Bible Study; 5:30pm-Bells. Each age group rotates in and out of activities.....(kind of like Vacation Bible School all year long!)
